تعدّ شخصية الفرد المحتوى الأساسي الذي يتضمن السلوكيات والأنماط الإدراكية الَّتي يتمّ من خلالها تصنيف التعامل الحيّاتي والمقابلات الشخصية للأفراد مع الآخرين في المجتمع المحيط، وفي مجالات حيّاتية مختلفة مثل مجالات العمل، أو مجال العلاقات المجتمعية الأخرى،وهنالك العديد من الطرق الَّتي يتسنى للفرد من خلالها تقديم نفسه في المقابلات الشخصية المتعلقة بالعمل،  والَّتي يتضمن كلٌ منها مجموعةمن الخصائص والتفاصيل، وتتمّثل هذه الأشكال والأنواع في مقابلات شخصية غير منظمة وتتضمن هذه المقابلات عددٍ من الخطوات الأوليةالَّتي تسهم في توليد الابتكارات الفكرية الَّتي تحتويها أسئلة المقابلة الَّتي لا تعدّ منظمة أو رسمية وذات ارتباطٍ بموضوع محدد، والنوع الثانيمن المقابلات الشخصية يتمّثل في المقابلات الشخصية المنظمة والَّتي تختلف في محتواها التعريفي عن المقابلات الشخصية غير المنظمة،حيث تتضمن  على مجموعة محددةٍ من الأسئلة الَّتي يتمّ طرحها وفقًا لأساليب وطرق معينة بالاستعانة بأدوات بحثٍ ودراسات كمية متنوعةومختلفة تسهم في تحديد هذه الأسئلة.
